You should contact a Sony Moderator so they can take a look into this, I don't understand why they wouldn't take your phone. Contact Johan, Sam, Alexander, Markus, etc.
It would be very odd for an authorised repair agent to not take a phone. Have you contacted your local Xperia Care team to verify if this is an authorised repair agent?

Hi Sam,
I finally did get support. They replaced the handset saying that the ear speaker software was conflicting with the microphone. Something I didn't understand.

Quiet unhappy with the phone though. The phone functions are terrible. Contact management, call quality. Still having issues with zero support from the service centre.
