Hi,

I'm Xperia P user.

Today Morning when I turned my phone on I saw facebook update in notification area..that it is about to start download!!

Now, it's been 5 hrs and still showing that update is about to start..

I tried everything to stop it or to remove it from the notification area but it's still there...

I even removed faceook app update and also tried safe boot mode but that notification is still there!!

It's draining battery very fast and the phone's turning hot!

How to remove/stop that notification??

My net conn. is working fine and other apps are downloading or updating well.

(using build 6.1.1.B.1.75, not rooted)

I too getting FB build update from today morning and showing downloading from morning but not starting itself

It sucking my battery very badly and I too cant able to stop streaming for long time.

Please advise if any one stopped it or completely downloaded it.

Hi Raj

I can able to stop download using the existing inbuilt app "DOWNLOADS".

I just selected and deleted which removed FB-build download from notification
