Experia Z5 - random settings changes

Set it to vibrate only - next day its set to ring at medium volume.

Look at my phone, see missed calls, phone is set to "do not disturb" on its own.

Dont even get me started on my Asus smartwatch. Worked fine for 6 months with my Galaxy. Now every week I have to reset it or Experia just wont connect.

Very annoying. Not impressed with Z5 after a month.

Brand new Z5. Wi-fi points added.

Every few days it just stops connecting. Briefly see an error "authentication problem". I know its not that because its been working. Most the time a reboot fixes but sometimes it fails to work with an AP until I reboot that AP (e.g. my wi-fi at home).

Annoying because with my previous phone. (Galaxy S5) the wifi worked without hitch and you knew if you were in range you were on wi-fi. Its not cool to download something then realise the wi-fi has failed to connect.

Only had the phone a month and more problems than about 3-4 years with my Galaxy 😞

does this things happen when you are in safe mode?

if yes, then try to perform software repair using Xperia Companion

if no, then it means a 3rd party app is causing the problem

Nothing but problems since I bought it a month ago.

1. Wi-if is a nightmare. Constant "authentication problem" issues needing phone reboot and/or router reboot. Doesn't always work so sometimes I just can't use wi-fi in public place (where I can't reboot the router).

2. Random settings change. Phone turns itself from vibrate only to medium volume without warning. Worse still, it seems to switch itself to "do not disturb" mode at random so  I miss calls.

3. Music output. Very low output from headphones. HD Sound - seems about the same as my old S5 and the supposed HD settings make no difference at all.

4. Battery life. Worse than my old S5.

5. Connection to smartwatch. Never had to reboot/factory reset my Asus smartwatch so often because it loses connection and won't reconnect.

6. Waterproof. Bought this phone because it was originally marketed as waterproof. Now it seems Sony are saying you can't immerse it in water - this has got to be a joke. Looks like they don't know what they're on about.

Have had every single Samsung Galaxysince it started and never had any of these problems. Bad idea to try Sony I guess.

No not in safe mode. Same apps as I had on my Galaxy.

@paulfoel

As you can see, your issue it's caused by a third party app.
