Experia Z1 Unlocking Problems

Hello all,hope your all well.

Im having problems unlocking the above phone on 3 and have loocked for days and cant seem to find an answer,let me explain.

Im bought the phone off a private seller who had a contract with 3 that had finished so they were selling the phone.

Ive used a new 3 pay as you go card to re-register the phone and contacted the network who say the phone is unlocked.

Ive tried numerous different network sims and evertime it says "PIN network unlock PIN"

Ive checked the service page and it says (x) NETWORK 3.

Can anybody please suggest what or why its resason for not unlocking as im running out of attemps.

The phone is network locked and you have 3 attempts to enter the correct unlock code, if you don't enter the correct code within those 3 tries remaining then the device will become hard locked

So you need to contact the network it's locked to or a 3rd party seller and purchase the unlock code unique to that device IE: due to your IMEI number

ive purchased a code online which came back with "not on our database"

not sure why this happened.

Cant understand why 3 they are telling me its unlocked when it isnt.

Why cant they just give me the code so i can try it myself?

As you say i have only 3 attempts left so i cant make to many wrong decisions.

I need some good advice if possible from Sony.

Sony don't do codes or provide them - This is done by the networks or 3rd party resellers
