Tried with another micro USB too but never gets charged.
what happens when you connect your X10 to your computer ?
Nothing happens. Doesnt charge at all just few red light blinks.
the service center sent back the phone claiming mechanical damage though under warranty. They asked me to dump it.......
that doesn't sound right, you should contact any SE moderator from this forum
I agree with banubalaji77. Though my phone is completely in working condition, I agree Sony Ericsson, being such a top organization, does not have the experience in designing USB power cables which can be supported by a such a small mini usb jack on the device. Definitely, there is a high possibility of mechanical overload and a damage to the pcb. I was such a pro Sony Ericsson fan on all previous models, but off late they are losing their marketshare with such faulty products to market.

Can anyone please help in this regard as I am having the phone without being used it for 3 months. Its still under warranty. The Swiss service centre has returned it without repairing claiming a huge amount if repaired. But as far as I understood the Terms & conditions given in the manual they have to replace or repair the device without charging the customer if its under warranty period.Kindly look into it.
