Exchange Service Stopped

Since this week I got a Xperia Z3 Compact, All the latest software is installed. Every few seconds I get the error Exchange services has stopped (translated from dutch). The only email I've installed is from my work (MS Exchange). I've used the same setting as on my previous phone (Xperia SP),

I've tried multiple things:

• Emptying cache of the exchange and mail app
• Turn of notifications at the exchange and mail app

I also found an earlier tread, but this also hasn't got the solution: Same issue in Xperia Z2 forum

The problem seems to be with the checkfrequency. When the mailcheck is set to push, you get errors. When it's set to manual you don't. It's a work-around but not a solution.

Does anyone has encountered the same problem or knows the solution?

What if you use another email app?

Thanks, I'll try it, maybe it will help. But my preference is to use the default app. So if you've got other suggestions...

You could use the gmail app

I've installed Mailwise and this works better. However the problem remains. Fortunately not as frequent as earlier (earlier was every few seconds). Now the error shows everery hour or so.

As I said: using another app reduces the number of errors, but it doesn't resolves it. But thanks for the suggestions
