Hi there,
Been using Sony phones since X10 and currently using XZ.
Couple of questions...
1. I would like to know how can I setup Exchange/Corporate email client such that I can sync and notified of emails in the sub-folders?
2. When STAMINA mode is turned on, the notification light shows white colour only regardless of the application settings. Eg. In Whatsapp I've set as to show blue, but when screen is turned off, it shows as white colour and the moment you press the power button it turns as blue. Is it a bug or something?
I'm using Android v4.1.2 / .253 software version.
Thanks.
So no one from Sony knows about it!
So much for the smartphone!!!
I don't have any issue with syncing sub folders on my Z. to view the folder on Z, you need to click the "inbox" on the top left and select "show all folders".
however but i don't get notifications on any new email in subfolders. what's even stranger is that i don't even get a notification on the Outlook desktop if the mail goes directly into the subfolder. i think the issue is with outlook itself, since it doesn't show any notification. you only see the indicator on the folder icon when you expand the"inbox" in the mail outlook app.
As Zann.H and egners says, you can enable push for a subfolder (open folder, tap menu, Sync options, Check frequency) but you will not get a notification from the phone when an email arrives to a subfolder.
Not sure if other clients have this but you could try Moxier, RoadSync or NitroDesk and see if they have alerts for subfolders.
Regarding notification LED you can use this app to change the LED for certain apps: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rundgong.illuminationcontrol.
Select Xperia U/J as phone model in the app.
Some of the subfolders seem to sync, but not all, or at least I cant see them.
When I tap "Show all folders", I only see like 30 of them, the rest is nowhere to be found?
Even though i have them in Outlook client, I can see them in Webmail, I have mail in the folders that is within the one month timeframe that I have synced.

Not sure what could cause this problem. Can you see the missing folders when using another client like RoadSync or Moxier?
I was able to see all the folders on my old phone when using touchdown.
What version of Microsoft Exchange are you using at your company? Do you have an extreme amount of subfolders?
We are running Exchange 2010, and it currently lists about 30 of my maybe 100 folders.

Using MS Outlook, try moving all email folders to a local pst-file and then move them back to the account again and see if that helps. If not, which software version do you have in the phone?
