Exchange ActiveSync problem

I am trying to create an exchange account in xperia P (Android v 2.3.7 , build 6.0.B.3.184) through ActiveSync in the phone (so that I can sync also exchange contacts and exchange calendar).

I have checked with the company exchange server, and the relevant activesync functionality is enabled from that end. I have also verified that the company server runs ActiveSync 2.5

My problem is the following: during setup of the account in the phone I am requested to type in "Domain" and "Server". I have tried several diferrent syntaxes but all fail.

Can you please demonstrate the exact syntax required for these two fields?

Thank you.

There are several way to enter you server address, could be IP or normal server name like "mail.company.com". But If you're company is using a larger EAS system you might have to check that you're trying to connect to the front-end server and also with proper domain name.

If you fell uncertain about this contact your IT department and I'm sure they can help you providing the correct details.

I tested this on AXIGEN (which is Exchange Alternative On LINUX) and find that only Inbox syncs realtime. For Sent folder i have to manually refresh. This however isn;t the case on WIN6/7 devices and AXIGEN vendor says that this is limitation at Client end. So perhapos EAS client on DROID needs to provide means for setting which folders to autosync (unless it is there and i have missed it). Even Blackberry through ASTRASYNC works fine wrt all folders autosync.
