Good morning to All,
In contrast with my Asus TF700T and my Samsung Galaxy 4 Tablet, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet does not show an 'Ethernet Settings Menu' when connecting a Level One USB Ethernet adapter.
Instead the Xperia Z2 Tablet shows a little ethernet/network icon in the right hand corner but one can not edit the ethernet network.
It does gives you a valid IP-number through DHCP but sometimes I need to add a choosen Static IP-number. Adding the MAC-address from the Level One USB Ethernet adapter to the router/switch with an assigned static IP-number, is not an option in my case.
Can Sony add this 'Ethernet Settings Menu'; I do need it .. !!!
As said earlier; with Asus or Samsung an 'Ethernet Setting Menu' pops up as soon as I connect Level One USB Ethernet adapter.
