Enable Wi-Fi Calling

My operator has introduced the support of Wi-Fi Calling from the start of 2016 and I would like to use it on my Z3. Is there a way to enable this feature like the Z3 Branded T-Mobile in USA?

Thanks

Edika

I am afraid that in order to use WiFi calling you'll have to receive a software update from t-mobile. You can go in WiFi settings and check there if the WiFi calling can be enabled.

I'm not a T-Mobile customer. What I'm asking is why if the phone is capable of wi-fi calling is not option by default, and if can be installed manually.

Thanks

Edika, sorry I misread your post. I don't think that a stock Android version can be modified to allow such feature, I am sure it requires some firmware upgrade to allow the voice streaming thru WiFi rather than GSM. You Z3 is for sure capable but unless you are willing to root your device and searching online for mods and roms to flash, it cannot be done.

Sorry.
