emergency calls only problem

Hi

I bought sony xperia arc s today , but the sim card isn't working , it is showing signals but with a yellow sign saying "emergency calls only" and no connections available what should I do now ?

you could restart your phone > check the correct APN settings and also disable or uninstall any taskillers and antivirus

it doesn't hurt to get a brand new SIM card (this is usually the problem)

but the sim is working fine in other phone , and I have tried other sims as well none of them is working restarting isn't working as well D; APN settings are fine as well

most likely then its the SIM card, if the SIM its older than 6months it will be wise to replace it, for the most part SIM cards are free but it varies per country/carrier/network

hmmm my sim is really old, I will change it then , I hope there is not a problem in handset

most likely that's the problem, also you can use SUS to repair your phone
