Email doesn't open any attachments

Hi!

After upgrading my xperia z to 4.4.4, the original email client cannot open any mail attachments that i receive to my google account.  Whet open, a message containg attachment appears empty. The same message open in gmail application opens without problems. Looks like this is related to android native email client core - the sony email shell is an extension to the android email client.

Did anyone experience this kind of problem? Everyone receives attachments ok?

Check the settings as you may have it set to only download attachments when connected to wifi

Sure I did check that. The thing is that if a message contains attachment(s), they just would not open, the progress bar shows download process but even small files never get downloaded. This started to happen only after upgrade to 4.4.4, before that it worked fine.....

Have the same problem with.my new z3. All attachments in Gmail are okay in all accounts download files no problem, but with mail app in z3 problem? Any suggestion?

Sony people plz help...this phone is getting useless because of this problem...Gmail is fine by corporate emails' attachments don't open...
