Which email app are you using?
Hi,
Sounds like you are using a POP3 configuration on your email account. If you like to delete the email permanently from the email server you have to change the setting "delete email from server" to when deleting from inbox". Open email > menu button > settings > tap on your account > incoming settings.
You can also contact your email provider to see if you can configure your account as IMAP instead of POP3.
