email crashed

Iam using Gmail and yahoo mail apps...so I disabled the internal email apps...but constantly receive a notification "unfortunately,email has stopped"
How can I get thias fixed

What happens when you Re enable the Email app, do you still get the error message?

I am using avast antivirus...

It'll be wise to uninstall it and check again.

You can also try 

Settings > apps > all > email > disable,  if you don't use it.
