About a week ago my ear speaker stopped working and I can no longer hear people when calling/receiving a phone call. The only way I can hear the other person is by putting them on speaker. I ran a diagnostics check and the ear speaker failed.
Since the test in Diagnostics failed this could be hardware related. However, you can try a software repair using PC Companion and see if that helps in this case. If it doesn't then you should get in touch with your local support team as uliwooly suggested.
