Dropped SD card into the port.

I dropped my micro SD card in to the port and now the Sim card won't fit in and I can't get the SD card out. I have no idea how to get it out and have tried everything I even shined a light and could not see it on there. Please help!!!

P.S. two needles might work well too - IF you can see the thing: put one on either side and lift it out like that.

In any case good luck I hope it works!

This is why Sony reputation is ruined, you use your phone improperly and scream "EXPENSIVE PHONE! WARRANTY! SONY SERVICE.

the same happened with many waterproofing claims, which led sony to change policy, so us normal customers won't get to enjoy waterproofing warranty anymore.

Good grief.

A xperia Z user that took his phone to sea, swimming pool and washed it everyday for 3 years.

Did you look at the SIM/MMC module on the Z5C? The openings are badly marked, the whole cannot be reached by human fingers and the wrong card can be fitted in the wrong slot. The user guide doesn't even show the module and its openings, it does warn not to mistakingly turn a card the wrong way when inserting it without being exactly clear on what the right way is. In order to deal with the SIM card holder it simply tells you to use a fingernail or whatever to pull it out.

It is just one element of this otherwise beautiful product that is very poorly designed: in a good design, it is crystal clear how things work and you cannot ruin the product by making such a simple mistake. I am a bit disappointed that they left this consumer in the dark, they could also have taken responsibility and just perform the simple repair job that this undoubtedly would be for them.
