Finger print sensor missing after software update

After software update of my Experia Z5.The finger print scanner option under Security is not Showing.Kindly suggest

Where is your device from? I know some countries have disabled the fingerprint scanner for this device.

Hi,

I have tried to contact Sony via the 'send us an email' link and filled out the info but it would not submit my request, so i don't know if you have recieved. Please can you send me an email, it is urgent regarding a similar issue to this one ( my phone will no longer open via the 4 digit code as some of the buttons/finger pad functions have stopped working, as well as the fingerprint function has also stopped)

uliwooly that is a good idea however i have no phone to call them..unless i ask to borrow someones...which is probably the quickest option to recieve help.... btw - love the quote - it's exactly how i am feeling right now!! You read my mind?!

Did you do the update FOTA or via Xperia companion? Or did you install it manually using another program?
