wow. much important. very update.

out of curiosity, out of the dozens of problems that the roms have and that the users are reporting, what percentage has been fixed? What percentage have actually even been *acknowledged* by sony to be problems? (example: removal of option to enable content adaptive backlight)?

@toothpaste

That's an interesting question, perhaps @Rickard could answer this question.

I'm talking about problems due to sony's customisation (e.g.: alarm not opening when tapping alarm icon in notification bar), not general android problems for which sony had no involvement (e.g.: audio playback missing samples)

@toothpaste

That's what I thought you were asking.

I'm afraid i don't have full changelogs for the firmware but there are of course more optimizations, changes and fixes in the updates.

I've requested information about the adadtive backlight. It might be that it always on now and there's no setting to turn it off but i'm not sure.

The alarm icon in the notification bar does not open the alarm app. This was reported to us in another thread and the information i got is that our developers have not added this feature. I forwarded feedback that this is a wanted feature though.

I recieved information that the content adaptive backlight was removed already in Android 4.3 so the feature is no longer available. I don't know why it was removed but i will try to find out and let you know if i can get that information.

@Rickard

content adaptive brightness has not been removed.

I wish it was removed... what has been removed was the option to enable or disable it.
