Hello! I've found the double tap to wake up to be very sensitive when the phone is put in my pocket, the screen unlocks on its own and sometimes the flashlight gets toggled.
I'm on the latest firmware.
Are there others who face this issue as well?
I have the same issue too. Never had this problem on my previous Xperia devices. This is the 1st time that I've applied a tempered glass screen protector but I'm not sure if it's due to that.
The flashlight is turned on because you've added a shortcut to it under the notification bar. You can remove that, so that the flashlight isn't turned on when the screen is somehow turned on, the notification bar is swiped down and the shortcut is triggered.
I usually just swipe to unlock my phone. But because of this, I've resorted to putting a PIN to unlock the phone, as there were occasions when the phone was in my pocket and the next thing I realised, it was dialing some contacts.
I've also resorted to placing the phone in my pocket in such a way that the screen is facing front (i.e. away from the body). I think this is the most effective but I'm afraid accidental bumps will damage the screen.

Wow, there's finally someone who could relate to this issue.
I have the screen protector which came with the device, no tempered glass.
I have switched off double tap to wake up device till Sony could come up with a solution, I don't want my phone dialling random numbers. I miss the feature dearly.
The proximity sensor could be made to work along with this feature so that double tap wouldn't trigger anything when in the pocket, at least that's how it works on Windows Phone.
