DONT UPDATE TO .184 (Help)

Battery wont charge after i restarted my phone for the first time after the update.

I have had it on charge for 4 hours and the red light only comes on when you press the power key.

Once you have unplugged it it will instantly flash flat once you try and turn it on.

Btw i have tryed to turn it on but it just died after sony logo (now completly flat) and there is no sony store near by so i cannot down or update.

The update procedure DOESNT CHARGE THE BATTERY. So even though you had the phone connected to the USB for an hour its basically discharging. So after update, unplug the phone from the cord, wait 1 minute and then charge it using charger or laptop for an hour before starting up. Also after SUS, you cant start the phone immediately without disconnecting the plug to the phone even if it has charge.

May be your phone is not updated completely

Yesterday I updated it and after that today only recharged it and within one hour its 100%.

I did the update the day before at 4pm and after it was charged.When it went flat around 9pm I plugged it in and the light came on and went off. I have got it working and I jumped my phone with and old charger what was USB as well and that puts power through so I knew it would work.

After 5 minutes I put the Sony back in and now it is charging so I left it.

It has to be a firmware error because firmware charges the phone and that is why I knew that it was this update and it had worked perfectly before the update.

Why a phone charged at 4pm go to zero battery power at 9 pm ?:smileyconfused:  Did you check if there was a very steep battery drain & heating ?

The phone was cold and it even has an extended battery in it to keep it going. (1500mah)

are you using any power saver application ? I have not seen what you describe after updating to .184:smileyinfo:

No such things happened Update went fine took me 2hrs to update ....
And it doesn charge during the update ...:smileyhappy:
