sony tipo not only has echo problems, but the call disconnects and the receiver cannot hear some times and the call drops
As customers are facing many problems with new sony phones esp tipo series and sony doesnot have solution for them. As well service centres are not cooperating now its time to fight against sony. All should unite and file case in consumer court. Since we experienced lot of troubles, problems with our sony phones about last 4 to 5 months and still sony is not cooperating so now we should get our money back with compensation for mental harassement and other losses. so wait guys unite ( we can unite on facebook by forming group) and file case in consumer court. And I want to tell you consumer court results are always in favour of consumers and process is simple ,no costly.. As well results are declaired only in max 90 days. so dont wait and get frustrated with sony..

I bought sony xperia tipo st21i in dec 2012....I face lag, touch and echo problems alot, i went to sony customer care center, they update it to 11.0.A.4.27, but i faced these problems alot yet. So, Please provide me a solution of these problems or give me my money back... as this phone is totally frustrating to use....I can only hear my voice not the caller voice and this problem costs me alot of trouble and loss of money...
Reply me asap....with an excellent solution...

Well, the echo problem hasn't been solved even in the newest 11.0.A.4.27 update for many users. The default sound quality isn't even close to "soul-shaking"(unlike what Sony claims). It is very noisy and not loud.
I feel Tipo Customers will be very pleased by the Sony Company if they release the new MEDIA APPS for ALL XPERIA 2012 devices, INCLUDING XPERIA TIPO.
The Sony itself said that all Xperia 2012 devices will get Walkman and other media apps. BUT whe Sony released the tipo software update, there were NO NEW MEDIA APPS!

FINALLY SONY HAS AGREED THAT SONY EXPERIA TIPO DUAL MODEL IS FAULTY. I PURCHASED IT ONE YEAR BEFORE. AFTER SERVICING ALSO FAULT COULD NOT BE SOLVED. AT THAT TIME NO PROPER RESPONCE FROM SONY. SO I FILED CASE IN CONSUMER COURT.AND NOW SONY HAS AGREED TO RETURN MY MONEY IN FORM OF CASH OR OTHER MODEL. SO GUYS DONT USE FAULTY MODELS. MAKE COMPLAINT. U CAN CONTACT ME 9970253528

I have lot of problwms with TIPO.
One of the problem I am facing is horrible voice quality when making a phone call. All the time the person at the other end is not able to hear my voice clearly.
Some times I can not listen to what the person on the other side is saying properly.
I am also thinking of filing a complaint with Comsumer court and get my money back.
When I decide to buy a smartphone in May/June 2013, I had lot of options like Micromax, Karbonn, Sony, Samsung, etc.
I bought my TIpo for Rs 8000/-
The specifications which Tipo offers was available on Micromax, Karbonn, etc for around 4500-5000 Rs/
But I decided to buy TIPO since I thought that Sony is reputed.company
My cousins and friends all bought Mucromax, Karbonnns,etc. and are very happy with it and are facing little or no problems with there phones.
So I paid double for a phone that functions worse that phones which ara available at half price.
If anyone puts any problmes with there phones on this website, sony people always tell you to repair the software of the phone.
Sony enginners who design the phones will never bring a update to fix the problems with the phone. I think Sony enginners dont even know how to fix the phones
Sony wants to sell horrible phones and then if there any problem with the phones, Sony people dont care.
Consumers can break there heads but Sony people will never listen
