I meant trade offs as you can't have as good speakers as walkman phones

I hav problem of network and echo after updating software from service center.. i agree with sameer we shoud come together and go in cosumer consumer..same problems of network and echo.. cals and msgs not getting properly.. in ful range phone shows 'emergency cals only'...and whats procedure for to push for repace module ?
I have echo issue which is really iritating for the recievers of the call..what is the solution frnds...and
@hariraj...u resolved this issue by removing which plastic cover ??

If it is right then why the H.e.l.l. you are fighting on english grammer and vocabulary? You might be the GOD in english [as you explained all the words in so much details that I became really huge fan of you..] but what the * * * * you are showing your extra terrestrial talent [ON ENGLISH of course] here? If you don't have it that we want from you [answer of course] then don't act that you have it... and come on... "lol" is this english word or is it picture of your waist from the front..? I'm asking because I'm not so much GOD [good] in english...

I purchased this phone about 3-4 months back with lots of hopes .you will be glad to know taht I purchased that phone with all my savings that I had. Within 2 months, the phone started showing echo issues. The other party hears an echo & there is also loss in voice quality.
But 15 days back the touch screen stopped working.I surrendred the phone to the authorized Sony Service center. They are just giving me a run around stating that it would take another 15 days & the executive there was also very rude for everything he would say "do whatver you can".Incase I do not get my phone back in working condition or a replaced phone I will never be in any kind of relationship with SONY nor will I suggest it to people I know.
Please look into the matter & let me know incase i need to follow another route to solve this issue ASAP as I do not have another cell phone due to which I am missing on important calls/contacts & undergoing huge depression .

Here is my little feedback to help people make the right decision -
I purchased Sony Xperia Tipo Single SIM some 3 months back.
Within 1.5 months, the phone started showing echo issues. The other party hears
an echo and there is also loss in voice quality.
I submitted the phone to the authorized Sony Service center.
After repairing the phone, the problem came back within 24 hours. So I gave the
phone again to the service center and yet the problem recurred. Since the same
problem recurred, I contacted Sony Customer Care asking for a replacement and
they FLATLY REFUSED to replace the device and just 'apologized'.
I am now proceeding with a consumer court complaint for
selling defective product and bad service as well as causing associated
expenses and harassment.
I would also like all readers to know that when I went to
the customer service center the first time, for Tipo alone, there were two more
customers facing problems. One elderly person was there and said he was facing
some motherboard issue just one month after purchase. Another young
guy said he had touchscreen problems. When I went there to collect the
phone, there were people facing issues with other models, and it was not the
first time they had visited the store.
When I went the second time to collect the phone also, there
was yet a person who had come there many times already.
It is quite clear that Sony is not paying attention to
testing properly what they have developed. It does not even look like this is
even their playground. It is easy to make a little money by selling customers
bad products, but I am surprised they are even getting away with it.
Particularly for Tipo, you might want to check out the web with the kind of
problems people have faced. The mic problem is definitely a very standard one
and is there with the Dual Sim also.
Sony has obviously shown very low levels of professionalism
in my case at least, very unlike their reputation of others electronic goods.
It does not seem they are interested in retaining customers. I am surprised
they have even got so far with mobile phones.

Just moving away from sony is not a way.. at least you should get money back.. i will suggest you to file a case in consumer court.. you will definitely get money back.. as tipo is defective product there is wastge of our time and money for which sony dont care.. i m going to do same.. from purchase date i hav not used my tipo more than 4,5 days.. it is service centre since last 1.5 months 3 times..
