Does Xperia Go need a screen protector?

As my headline says, I am bit confused whether Xperia Go needs a screen protector? Or it already have one? (as it is dust and water proof)

Screen Protector doesn't have anything to do with the dust and water resistancy of the phone.

Yes, that's true! They usually come pre installed but sometimes it's difficult to confirm whether it has or has not.. One of my friend has applied an additional screen protector on his Xperia Active but later on he came to know that it already has one.. But the glass is scratch resistant correct? So I don't see a need of having protecter even if it doesn't have..

Yes, thats true, but scratch resistant is not the same as scratch proof.

one way or another in the long run it would be scratched..

I saw a faint scratch over my Xperia Go screen after using it for 2 weeks. So, I've put a screen protector/scratch guard over my phone for safety reasons. I would advise others to do the same as well.
