Does anyone know how to access .sbf files?

Hello. My x10 has died, it's got a faulty micro usb port which can't be fixed. I need to access my files on the micro SD card. The files are .sbf files. Is there a pc application that will open them?

On the thread below you can find some users discussing an issue that looks quite similar to yours. Hopefully you can find a solution to your issue in there. Slightly_smiling_Face

Hi, I'm sorry but that link doesn't help. It relies on the phone being on. In my case, as I said, the phone is dead beause the micro USB port is faulty, ie I can't charge it,

What I want is to recover data stored on my calendar which (as far as I know) is stored on the micro SD card.

I've put the card into a card reader & I have a utility which will open the file but it's in Hexadecimal format which I can't read.

So, is there any way of opening up the file, ie a utility or program, so it can be read, other than plugging it into another Xperia x10, which I do not possess.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood a bit of the issue as it seems. I did'nt get the part concerning that your phone could'nt start up.

I checked with a bunch of colleagues to see if they knew any possible solution except from the one's provided in the thread in my previous post and unfortunately no one seemed to know a workaround.

Does anyone else reading this know some way through this?
