Dock station cannot put on mute

Hi,

Appreciate some insight. Love the docking station for Sony Xperia Z1 but I have one complaint. When I go to sleep I expect to mute and turn off vibrate for all notifications except possibly alarm. Every app that has a notification turns on vibrate mode even though I turn it off (while docked) before going to sleep. Very irritating. I even tried to program the Smart Connect to mute and turn off vibrate when docking but still same problem.

Any fixes or otherws with the same problem.

Sounds strange. 

Try to turn off all events in Smart Connect.

Select to add a new one. > Select charging dock as "connect or disconnect device". > next > add start action > sound mode > silent. Add an end action if you like. > name your event. 

Now with only the newly created event enabled, the phone should go to silent mode when connected to the charging dock. It should be silent and not vibrate.

Hi,

I followed the instructions to put the mobile completely silent when docking. The problems still occurs.

I ran a test to recreate the problem. I started a game, Clash of Clans and did a step which would generate a notification after x number of minutes. I docked the mobile and I double checked and the mobile was in "silent" mode. As soon as the notification came from Clash of Clans after x number of minutes the mode was changed to vibrate.

It looks like apps can change the mode in the mobile independent of how I setup "Smart Connect".
