I have recently purchased a new Sony XPERIA U phone and now I am noticing some small white lines at the bottom of the screen. It is visible only in white and yellow backgrounds (eg. while viewing webpages). Can someone suggest if this is normal with this phone?
go to dialer, and enter *#*#7378423#*#* go to service tests > display > tap on screen a few times to change colours if you see those lines there, it's dead or stuck pixels and you should take your phone to service center to be replaced
