Hi all,
has anyone ever gotten a problem where the display bumps up the contrast unusually high for no reason?
This is despite the Brightness set at the lowest level. I noticed because the interface suddenly looks like it's on something*
Also, my battery packs no longer work with this phone. Regardless of whether I use a magnetic adaptor or plug it directly to the phone's micro usb port. It keeps blinking the orange led light. Or it'll charge for a few seconds and stop.
I've sent the phone in once to the Singapore Service Centre, to fix a most puzzling problem of all. The phone would automatically take pictures while it was in my pocket. Only way for me to tell was when the phone started to heat up. I'd find hundreds (up to 600+) of random photos taken of the inside of my pocket.
This issue stopped after they ran some diagnostics and returned me the phone. But the other two seem to persist..
Any and all comments / suggestions are much appreciated.
Cheers,
wei

If you are looking at pictures or videos then the Xreality engine kicks in.
As for the battery packs not working that's something you have to contact the battery pack's customer support, most likely you are using more battery than this batteries can recharge or they are no longer working.
Xperias have a dedicated camera button, perhaps you were pressing it and it took pictures, it has happened to me with myriad Xperias, an alternative is
Camera > menu > settings > quick launch > launch only or set it off
