Disabling applications

Can I disable the applications like 

1. news and weather

2. Movie Studio

3 Reader by sony

4. Set up guide

5. Socialife

6. Sony select

because i dont use them

when I try to it says if i disable a built in application other apps may misbehave, is it true if i disable above applications?

There's only one way to find out, disable them

Settins > apps > all > select the app > disable it
