Disable X - Alert for XPERIA

App is good for security but once you activate it and enable password for applications it gives you really bad annoying experience. To fix the issue, please do following:

1. If you have Screen lock = Pattern then you need to change it to PIN 
2. Go to Settings => Security => Device Administrator and untick X - Alert for XPERIA
3. Now go to Settings => Apps => All = Select X - Alert for XPERIA
4. Click on Force Stop and do Clear Cache

This actually helped me solve the issue. I was also being asked by the app for the password repeatedly. This was quite an annoyance...

Guys plz help. I'm not able to go to settings. As ivory to go to settings it's asking me the security password. I don't remember the password. How do I fix this issue. I want to deactivate x alert for xperia

shradha, If you forgot the password then it will be difficult as you can't access Settings.

As per my support call they have told me that they have made some changes in version 1.10. This version of X-Alert does not prompt for password while accessing "Contacts", "Settings" and "Dialer". To avoid password prompt during screen unlocks, please turn off "Anti-Theft" option from the 3-of-5 page in XAlert wizard.

If you can access Google Play then try to update X - Alert for XPERIA with latest version.

guys a followed these steps but it did not solve the problem,i even uninstalled x alert but ut is still asking for password once i unlock my phone.kindly please tell the way to disable x alert
