Default Messaging Application Download

Hi all

I accidently uninstalled my Default Xperia Mini Messaging application.

I want to install the same application again.

Please let me know from where I can get the application again ?

Strange, but it is not possible to delete or uninstall a default application on Xperia. How did you manage to do that? Have you rooted your phone? Do one thing; download some file manager software like astro or es explorer or blue tooth file transfer. Now browse to the phone memory using the application. Find a folder named System and from it find the folder app and here you can find a file name mms.apk. Click on it and install it.

Ummm...Actually my messaging icon had been removed when I uninstalled it.

SO I though it's uninstalled.

But it actually moved onto other location.

Maybe I got confused.

MY actually issue is as follows:

I have been using handscent messaging .

This app enabled me to put lock to my messages.

But if I enable lock in this app , my default msg application is still accessible to all.

Can I prevent my messages to going from  default  Xperia app. ?

or is there any other work around ?
