Dear Sony,
My first Sony smartphone was the Xperia Ray. It's a very nice phone for the price but I was excited when the Xperia U came out and I thought it was going to be better than the Xperia Ray but and although I love the design and a LOT of things about it you guys are just dumb and make a great phone really annoying and in fact, instead of moving forward you move backwards! The camera and sound were all BETTER on the 2011 Xperia Ray than on the 2012 Xperia U. Seriously, who makes this decision? He/She should be FIRED!. So, I have decided that if in one week you don't give me answers to my problems I will return the 2 Xperia U's I bought for my wife and me and I will buy the galaxy Nexus instead. Sure, it's 100 dollars more but I'm tired of this.
1. Will Ice Cream Sandwich fix the awful video quality?
2. Will Ice Cream Sandwich fix the loudspeaker volume on Google Hangouts?
3. Will Ice Cream Sandwich fix the annoying light bar that won't turn off while watching netflix?
4. Will Ice Cream Sandwich add a feature so that we can decide to use the light bar for all notifications instead of that stupid little led that is barely visible?
If you don't answer in the next week I'm returning my phone and getting a Galaxy Nexus.
the Xperia S has camera issues just like all 2011 Xperias and 2010 Xperias and there was never and hasn't there be a camera improvement, not even with the Xperia S after ICS

you can turn off the transparent bar with "Screen filter" (from the market)
there's another app that you can use to mod the transparent bar
SMS/MMS &/or Missed Calls notification bar light

Thank you! This makes me so mad. Why would Sony do this in a time when one of the top features people look on a smartphone is the camera? Why oh Why!?
I know how you feel, Sony having such a great Digital camera line up can't have a kick-butt camera on their phones

I am not happy with Sony... i bought a Defective Xeria U Phone, there are some dead Pixels on the Screen and i returned it in Sony service and its been a Week and i am still waiting for it / why cant Sony have a Quality check before sending them to market? comming to Notice bar, if Sony designers want to Add illumination Bar why dont they give all the Settings in the Phone to control it ? why do we have to install an App from market to control it , i am tired of this Sony Man, i have Samsung Galaxy S and i bought this Xperia for my Wife... not happy with Sony, Would have gone for Samsung...:smileysad:
they probably don't have the parts to fix it, I don't like the ligth strip at all, can you still return it?

i dont think i can return it , i am in india and the retailer donot give us Option to return the Handset...
