Dead st27i screen- anyone, HELP Pls & Ta!

Hi all, am I the only 1 thats got stuck with a Go with a bust screen( cracked, just wont work)? Tried everywhere and cant find any comment/post related to a solution. Goin mad at this stage!!:smileyplain:

You try pressing the power button and the up volume, this a phone restart sequence.

tried it loads, not working?

1. check battery if its empty if its ok then try step 2

2. hold the power botton and volume up arrow

Try running a repair (yes this can be done with the phone powered off):

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps

Yes, it didn't solved the problem with my fone either...

To be honest if you have both done this and have still had no luck then I can only advise that you return the handset so that it may be assessed by an authorised repair agent.
