dead pixels

We bought a Sony Xperia Miro cellphone on  2.1.2013. We see that there are 3 ‘dead’  pixels in the screen.  We would  like  to know whether this will affect  the cellphone in any way i.e. will more pixels become dead in course of time  and thus affect the display of colours in the mobile.

Will I be able to get myself a new set if this happens?

Whilst it is unlikely that this would get worse, it is worth returning the handset for assessment.
