Data Traffic (EDGE) Not Wokring

Hello Everyone,

Recently joined the xperia S family. And am a first time user of Android and smart phones.

I am facing an issue of Data Traffic not getting started even on enabling it. (Dont see any EDGE (E) symbol on top)

However when I shut phone down and restart it, and then I start the Data Traffic, it gets enabled and I see the EDGE (E) symbol on top confirming the same.

Turning off the WIFI also doesnt help here.

Not sure if something is wrong with handset or service provider. Has anybody encountered the same issue earlier.

Request your help in this context.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

Have you tried switching SIM-card in your phone?

Sounds like it might be the SIM causing this issue, and it's there for wise to try out to see if can solve it.
