could not verify error

I've been trying to update my Android software fromapp store and it is giving me a error "could not verify " this error. I'm using Wi Fi and its strong

I've just tried to update with Sony pc companion it went very well to the preparing step.. And when I hit to install I got a error "an error has occurred and the device software update was aborted Click Retry to Restart the device software update " =/

Please try updating the version of Java you are running then perform the repair again:

Hi,

I had the same problem when updating to 14.3.A.0.761

I restored my bootloader backup using Backup-TA 9.11 (a backup should have been made before unlocking the bootloader) and everything went well.

You don't need Sony PC Companion to update the firmware, just restore the bootloader to its locked state and update as usual.

If you haven't made backup, I afaraid this solution won't work for you.
