Corrupted photos after transfer from internal to SD

Good Day Guys,

Just encountered this issue3 days ago when I got notified that internal memory is about 75% full, so I did transfer those suggested files including images. After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the  images are nowhere to be found. Its good that we have an amazing photo captured from our xperia, but the thing is, No matter how good the xperia camera is, if those photo would just be corrupted after transfer, then, no sense at all. I appreciate your feedbacks guys! Thanks!

Yes no problem. Hope this can be fixed or overcomed quickly.

Btw,can you tell me how much is the files size? I mean in total of your pics that you want to transfer is it like 1gb or 2gb?or larger?

Hi,

I think its about 30 photos, 87 - 90 MB (estimated).

May I ask if would there be anyone here recovered her/his lost photo using any software?

Thanks Sir Ashroft98

Actually no need to call me sir,i'm only 17 haha, you can call me Ashroft only..

30 photos 90MB thats not big.I'd even transfered 1gb files of photos and videos but faced no problems with Z1.

At them moment ,you could use an app like recuva however many users didn't able to fully recover those lost files.

My advice, next time, you should copy/paste files manually using File Commander app.So that way, even if the transfer progress did corrupted, then you would still have the photos.

Then,go to camera and change data storage to SD card.So it would be saved there directly.

Hi Ashroft,

I just did what you have said, (Setting up SD as default Storage) in Camera but when I used the camera (take a pic), it says "Could not Save" Now Im confused, Is it the SD card malfunction itself? or seems like corrupted files has been blocking the path? ahha. just an assumption.

thanks.

Thats just so weird.

Try this

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Media Storage > Clear Data and restart phone

See if the problem persist.

Hahaha, everything is possible though in this world.

May i know whats the brand and capacity of your SD card?Have you been pulling in and out the sd card from the slot?
