Saved my contacts to computer, updated OK but how do I get my contacts out of my computer and into my phone?

I can see them in"My documents/sony/PC companion/phone backups/DBKfile" I've transfered the backup file to internal memory but where do I go from here?

thank you uliwooly, I fear it is all too complicated for me. If I ever get my contacts back up I'll never update again.  I just want to make and receive phone calls and am not interested in Google or any social media, again, Thanks.
