Contacts

I woke up this morning and got out my sony xperia J, to find out that all of my contacts had deleted themselves, I resynced them from facebook and that worked for the synced contacts, the rest I had inputted myself had gone, I tried resetting my phone and it didnt help, so I wrote them all out and tried to add them, when I did this it said saved contact, but it hadnt, they werent there and i cant fix ot or get contacts back, im forever guessing who texts me, any help?

Your contacts can not disappear unless your phone was reset or the phonebook cleared, anyway, try this

open the phonebook > Menu > filter > select everything

I have tried this and it doesnt work, none of the contacts I manually entered are there, and when I try to re-enter them it says contact saved, but they're not there still.

By any chance did you synced your contacts with your Gmail?

Not manually no, unless the phone has done it its self (which i doubt) I havent.

Settings > accounts > Google > check if contacts its selected, if it is then

on a computer access your Gmail > contacts

No it isnt set to sync Gmail contacts.

what if you try to import your contacts, that is, if you stored them on your SIM card
