Contacts problem

Hi, can anyone help please?  I have the Xperia Arc LT15i.  When I try to open my contacts, every second turn, I get a notice which says "process com.sonyericsson.android.socialphonebook) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Can this be fixed, as I like the phone, but find this very annoying?

Hi, just wondering .... do you have google+ installed? If you do, uninstall it and see if problem goes away.

Hiya, nope, I don't have Google+....

To be sure, goto Settings>Applications>Manage applications>All, see if you are able to find google+.

The other option is to Factory Data Reset phone, goto Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset which will erase phone data completely (SD Card not affected). Be sure to do a backup.

Hopefully this option can resolve your issue, if not .... a Software Repair!

Thanks. Checked for Google+, and it definately is not there.

I will try your other option so then.

I only have the phone for about 2 or 3 months... Anyway thanks again
