Contacts crash while accessing and Network Detection Problem

Hi,

I am facing two major issues in my Xperia J.

Issue 1: My phone does not detects service provider network intermittently. Some times it detects network but does not connects to it. I am a Airtel subscriber but it does not connects to the network. (refer screen shot)

Issue 2: My contacts crash while accessing. (Screen shot attached)

Please help me on these issues on how to get them fixed.

Is there anyone who can help me on the network detection issue? I have resolved the contact crash issue.

Please reply if anyone has any idea how to fix it.

Good to hear that you have solved the contact crash problem. When it comes to the network problem you are experience I suggest that you check that the network mode is set on WCDMA/GSM under settings > more > mobile network > network mode. Restart your phone.

If that doesn't help I suggest that you try with another SIM card in your phone.

If the problem persists with another SIM card I suggest that you repair the phone software using PC Companion:
