Contacts and Call History erased/ deleted - Sony Experia J!!!

Woke up this morning to find that my contacts and call history were completely empty/ deleted/ erased - whatever you want to call it. Have switched phone on and off, have installed PC companion and ran repair, have tried sync with google  to no avail!!! What an absolute joke, anyone else had this sort of problem with the Sony Experia J, if so has anyone been able to rectify it???

I think this is related either to your SIM or a filter might be applied.Go to contacts-settings-filters.

I wondered if you had managed to resolve the problem? I had the same thing happen with my Xperia J...it lost all the contacts & I now can't save any contacts?

I tried the filters option in settings..but couldn't sort it that way. Not sure how to sort it via the SIM card...any info would be greatly appreciated.

Guess what, all my contacts also dissapeared overnight. Does Sony have an undercover Harry Potter APP build in to the phone? Looks like magic, they got too smart maybe? Tried everything on the forum and trouble shooting options, nothing worked. Does Sony pay for the time we spend getting contacts back, or are they trying to scare current customers away? I will never buy it again. It takes too much time to get contacts back.

If anyone has a Harry Potter idea to magically get contacts back, please let me know?
