Contact pictures after upgrade

Xperia with Facebook stopped syncing contacts from fb after the update, so I need to use the Facebook account to sync contacts.The contact pictures are in a very low resolution, they are useless. Removed the facebook account, deleted the facebook app data, still having the same issue. Also have this issue, with the google account pictures. Is there any solution to sync those pictures properly?

Hi zsolesz79, this cannot be changed as Google only allows this level of resolution. I advise downloading a third party Contacts app to sync them with.

Has it changed in Lollipop? I had no problem with this before the update. What 3rd party app do you suggest?

It will download Hi Res profile pics from Facebook or LinkedIn and save it to your contacts. They will appear on your normal phone app perfectly.

It has changed in Lollipop as Sony no longer provide the "Facebook Inside Xperia" function. One of my many reasons for going back to KitKat.
