Contact name goes wrong

Okay, I'll try my best to make myself clear, English's not my native language.

There's something wrong with my contact, it's not just saving name of the contact, it's saving *everything* I type in the name boxes (well, name prefix, first name, middle name...) without clearing them after I'm done edit the contact.

For example, a guy's full name is Andy Gee, I mistyped it, to Andrew Gee or something, then fix it to Andy Gee, and I'm done editing the contact. After that, in Contact, my phone show that contact with the name Andy Gee (of course) and just under that is Andrew Gee (with the matter of fact that I cleared the name before). More than that, I can find Andy Gee by typing Andrew.

The more I mistype, the more messy the contact name become after saving

Now my contact list is a little bit mess because of that, many contact names begin with C now is sorted into A, B group.

Is there anything I could do ?

I tried uncheck/check auto sync settings but not working.

About go directly to google contact website, it's great to edit contacts, but it's no use in this case.

Today I delete all mess-up contacts and recreate them using Xperia International Keyboard (I was using Japan Keyboard before) and things went just fine, except Myself contact, I couldnt delete it, so I had to unlink it, and now i'm trying to edit Myself contact with my information.

I don't think "Myself" can be deleted as it an automatically added feature on the Phone book.

Another way to get rid of unwanted names or contacts, go to your Phone book » Filter. You can uncheck the boxcheck on Display Contacts list that you don't want to be displayed

Yes,myself can be edited on some cases through SIM,but it was available on the phone in older Sony ericsson phones.

So can I. I can edit it yet not allowed to delete it. But I like that feature tho. When messaging, there's a picture of myself on it. lol

Okay, final post.

I can confirm that when using Japanese keyboard, editing or creating new contact could lead to both correct and incorect contacts still shown, the more you edit, the more mess up your contacts become. There's no way to hide incorrect information of contacts.

//Oh, and I managed to edit Myself contact, so everything's normal now.
