Hi there!
I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to ask this. But is there a way to connect an Xperia tablet (or any Android tablet) to a PS3 via wifi in order to cast or stream off files such as photos or movies?
Please advice. Thanks.
What you can do is to enable the media server in the tablet under Settings -> Xperia Connectivity -> Media server settings. This will allow you to browse the media files you have on your tablet from your PS3 if they are connected to the same network.
Would this be also possible in some "standard" Android tablets?
If i'm able to connect them which part of the PS3 i need to look for my files?
If it can act as a DLNA server it should work. It may also be possible to download an app that acts as a DLNA server.
See this page for information on how to access a DLNA server from the PS3: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/connectdlna.html
