There's not much we can do, apart from waiting.

But yes, if Z/ZL and even SP is getting it, I don't see a reason why ZR should miss it, and why it is taking them so long.

No,ZR will not miss it,it might get it later than the others,but not miss it.

ZR wont get 4.4 before xperia z, zl and z1 it will get 4.3 first if now sony decides to publish 4.3 to zr or to keep zr on 4.2.2 untill release 4.4 for rest of z series gets it
