UPDATE FOR XPERIA ARC S ANDROID 4.0

 I bought Xperia Arc S in December 2011 from Orange Spain. I am still using Android 2.3.4, Whenever i try to UPDATE my 

phone through  SONY UPDATE SERVICE OR PC COMPANION, i always receive this message "YOUR PHONE IS UP TO DATE, and unfortunately i could not get Update?

      PLEASE TELL ME WHEN UPDATE IS AVAILABLE FOR MY XPERIA ARC S IN SPAIN?

That's because your carrier did not approved nor released the update, you have an alternative which is to manually update to 4.0, keep in mind that it will slow down your phone quite a bit
