Charging

Hi, I have a problem with my Xperia Neo. The problem is kind of wired and I haven't seen it elsewhere. My phone only charges by usb. If I connect it to a wall charger the charging led is red but the phone doesn't charge. The charge adaptor works cause I tried it on another device. Can someone please help? thank you

did you give it a few minutes to start? a depleted battery may take awhile to start charging.

yes I did, the battery was completely drained and I tried to charge it. It didn't work on the wall charger so I tried by usb. It charged to about 5% so I tried to move it back to the wall charger, only to find it decreased to 1% after a while, although the led was red as if it was charging. Moved it back to usb and it's charging normally. I reset phone settings and still doesn't work. I really don't know what to do

I mean if you leave it connected an hour or so.. it still doesn't start up? have you tried other charger to your phone?

well I left it connected through the night, thinking it was charging, but in the morning the battery was completely drained, so I don't think it's that reason

I didn't try another charger cause I don't have one at the moment, but the charger works on an ipod tocuh so I don't think it's damaged

I see, you tried the chrager to other phone , and it worked right, so the phone might have the problem,

well thanks, but that's what I'm trying to avoid, extra costs

if you are still on warranty there is a chance they will repair it for free.
