Charging Problem

My xperia z1 is about 1 and a half year old and since a day or two I have been experiencing this problem of charging my phone. When I plug my phone onto the default wall charger, the LED lights in on and I also see the power sign next to the charger but a pop up shows up after sometime saying that the charging rate is lesser than the usage rate although I wasn't using my phone. And now, as I write here, I have kept my phone on charge through USB on my laptop which is a slow charging process but atleast its keeping my phone alive. Any solution/suggestion? (Same thing happening with S4 too)

I suggest you try to use an adapter (sony preferable). The output will be higher and the message should be gone.

If it appears to be charging albeit slowly via your Pc then check the mains plug or try a different plug as it could be that that's faulty

I tried my Sony adapter which didn't solve the issue either.

And I also tried to plug my USB and/or use other charger which didn't work either.

In this case,as Thommo said you might have a defective wall socket or even cable.

Although I have tried this, I will still redo it.
