charging problem

hi, im a newbie xperia user, i encountered charging problem today. the charger connected to the phone, although its connected but it is not charging, there is no visible light and charging icon (flash) seen at the phone. thanks. what im supposed to do?

That is just so weird.

Maybe a software glitch? It actually charges but it doesnt shows it.

Try performing a System Fix at Sony Update Center(SUS).

yes its charger connected when you look in its settings its discharging, there's no visible light shows.

Try charging while in safe mode.

To enable safe mode

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold down the power key until the phone vibrates.
3. Wait until the Xperia™ logo appears.
4. Press and hold the volume down key. The device then restarts in safe mode.

Note: To exit safe mode, restart the device.

Tell us what  happens if you charge in safe mode,does it charging properly?

Hmm...

I don't really sure what goes wrong with either the charger or phone.

I would suggest to you to contact Sony and send an email to their engineers.

They might ask you to go to their service centers.
