change host name

Hello, 

I would like to change device host name for easy identification in network. Now when I connect with Xperia X to company network and get IP from DHCP, so on DHCP server I see host name 'android-184acda7....' what is actually difficult to recognize. We want to buy for each employee smartphone with options set device host name. Then administrator has nice overlook what IP is assigned to what device.

I'm afraid that, currently, there is no setting that allows you to change this.

I can see how it would be useful though so I'll forward this as user feedback.

Developers must understand, that smart phones will be very ofter connected in LAN/WLAN and in company enviroment is such function very very useful.

Do You want to be modern?...please add this options and network administrators will love Your devices!
